Let a little bit of water boil, then pour the frozen portions of beet and wait for the water to return boiling, remove the lid from the pot and leave it cooking for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Drain it, then dress or cook it as desired; beet is very good if eaten in a sour sauce or sautéed with garlic, oil and chili pepper.
