They are tender and have a fresh flavor like they have been just harvested, green beans are full of fibers and mineral salts. They are harvested and immediately processed and frozen not to alter their good taste and nutritive properties. They are great if seasoned like a salad with a bit of balsamic vinegar or if eaten together with mashed potatoes.

Let a little bit of water boil, then pour the frozen product into the pot and wait for the water to return boiling, then remove the lid from the pot and leave it cooking for about 8 minutes over medium heat. Drain it, then dress or cook it as desired; green beans are very good if dressed with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or together with Soffritto and tomato, their best version is with salads, with courgette’s sticks, some peppermint leaves and extra virgin olive oil.
